About Us
Newman Design Ltd is a small design studio specialising in illustration, animation, graphic design and web design, but as anyone who knows us will tell you, we love creating and turn our hands to stained glass, furniture making and many other crafts.
Founded in 2003 by Angi and Ted Newman, Newman Design Ltd, based in the beautiful surroundings of Rose Farm, is a place where good design can flourish, for both ourselves and our customers.
Angi Newman
Angi studied art at Hereford College of Art and Design, she then trained as a miniature painter with Toye Kenning and Spencer in Birmingham’s jewellery quarter, painting regalia for Lord Mayor’s chains of office and other enamel pieces.
Ted Newman
Ted studied Technical Illustration and Graphic Design at Gloucester College of Art and Design, he then spent 14 years working on military contracts, supplying illustrations and conceptual designs for DERA, GCHQ and many leading defence suppliers. Then a further ten years at Dstl working on both their internet and intranet web sites.
